Building a different kind of sailing company.
Task-B started with professional skipper and instructor work. The long-term goal is a recognisable international sailing adventure brand built around exceptional skippers, capable yachts and deep local knowledge.
Bart Nieborg.
Task-B was founded by Dutch skipper and sailing instructor Bart Nieborg.
His background combines professional sailing, charter operations, mechanical engineering and hospitality. He has worked in Croatia, Greece and the British Virgin Islands as a skipper, instructor and charter-operations professional.
That combination shaped the Task-B idea: seamanship should be serious, teaching should be practical, and the skipper should understand that the people and places around the yacht are part of the product.
A Task-B skipper should be recognisable.
Long-term growth depends on reproducing the skipper experience beyond one person.
Seamanship
Safe command, professional judgement and strong practical yacht handling.
Instruction
Clear teaching that makes guests more capable without turning every trip into a classroom.
Hospitality
Read a group, create atmosphere and remain part of the social experience onboard.
Curiosity
Research locally, contribute to the Blue Book and keep finding better ways to explore a region.

A small fleet with a big range.
Task-B ultimately aims to control a small fleet of capable sailing yachts across selected sailing regions. The emphasis is not volume. It is high utilisation, strong skipper culture, excellent maintenance and enough range to operate over broader regions rather than repetitive base loops.
Investor-backed ownership structures may help Task-B gain reliable long-term access to suitable yachts without turning the guest website into an investment prospectus.

Knowledge. Stories. Traditions.
The Blue Book, the Orange Chapter and Task-B's skipper-training system are intended to make the company better with every season and more recognisable as it grows.
