Professional preparation without a rigid seven-day script. The structure creates the freedom to change course when the weather, the group or a better idea says you should.
Preparation creates the freedom to improvise.
Before departure there is a capable skipper, a suitable yacht, weather planning, possible routes, anchorages, restaurants, activities, local contacts and backup plans.
What there does not have to be is a fixed itinerary that survives regardless of what happens. If somebody loves diving, history, seafood, hiking, nightlife or deserted anchorages, that information can change tomorrow.
Structured spontaneity is not making it up as you go. It is knowing enough to make good changes safely.

A Task-B skipper is expected to do more than drive the yacht. The role combines seamanship with teaching, storytelling, local research, guest psychology, group dynamics and hospitality.
They mingle with guests, learn what the group enjoys and use that information to improve the trip.

Participation
